Christmas is upon us
Preparations for Christmas are well under way with books bought for all my family and friends. I have a lot of fun choosing the titles I think each person will like – and reading some of them myself before giving them away. And I am delighted when friends who have enjoyed their book lend it back to me. What would we do without bookshops? They take all the pain out of Christmas shopping.
After Christmas we leave for Northern Ireland and France. In January I will be revisiting some of my Rose de Freycinet research in Paris, and hopefully catching up with Henry, if he is available.
Have a very Happy Christmas and I hope to have some good news when I return at the beginning of February.
